Opening Week Fishing Report

Our first week of fishing for the 2026 season has us excited for what is to come this summer. We saw great action for smaller “feeder” springs and even spotted a few humpback whales already in the area. It wont be long now before the bait and the whales are in abundance, with larger migratory chinook salmon right behind them. On top of the great fishing it looks like we are also in for a warm summer here in Haida Gwaii. Plenty to look forward to and we are excited to be underway here in Masset, BC.
